Fauna of Western Australia

Published January 18, 2022

It is not uncommon that along with some incredible archaeology, our field staff encounter some of the amazing wildlife Western Australia has to offer.

Ranging from Large Red Kangaroo’s, Goanna’s and Emu’s to much smaller species such as Echidna’s, Thorny Devils, Spiders and Snakes!

Although sometimes scary, each of these wonderful species contributes to the diverse ecosystem of Western Australia and we strive to always complete our work in the field with little to no disturbance to any native wildlife.
